PART SHAMELESS POST TO GENERATE SALES! But, really, please, answer this question for me. Let’s talk.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of
angels, and have not charity [love], I am become as sounding brass, or a
tinkling cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1
Words and pretty speech are just noise unless they are spoken in (agape)
love. It is possible to scream without saying a word—it is possible to be both
a gong and a cymbal at the same time. It is also possible to speak with
eloquence and say nothing because nothing we do or say is meaningful without
the exercise of love.
Reflections
In what ways have you been noisy (speaking without love)?
